Our Story
Marigold Hearth started in 2020 as a hobby, making natural soap as gifts for friends and family. Soon, it became a well-loved staple in our home and others. Today, Marigold Hearth Soap can be found at craft markets in the Charlotte area, at Homestyles Gallery in Mint Hill, and on Facebook.
It has always been about creating something beautiful that’s also practical and nourishing for the skin. We use ingredients found in nature, simple recipes, and designs that delight us. Every one of our products is handmade, with all the little quirks and imperfections of something made by a real human.

Lydia Kaufman wears all the hats – from design to production, marketing, labeling, and every aspect in between. Wife, mama to two precious little boys, obsessive craftswoman. Missouri native, Charlotte resident since 2018. Big fan of renaissance fairs, medieval fantasy music, and wonderful stories.
